September + October ’24 Empties

Another two months have passed, and with them comes another batch of beauty products that have been completely emptied. Join me as I take a moment to reflect on what truly worked wonders for my skincare and beauty routine, and what didn’t quite make the cut this time around.

As with all my blog posts, I always make it a point to include an exciting giveaway, but for this particular post, I am thrilled to announce that there will be not just one, but two fabulous giveaway prize bundles available for you to win!

Facial Skincare Empties

Glow Recipe Cloudberry Bright Essence Toner

Price: $38 for 2.53oz

The Cloudberry Essence Toner is essential a 2-in-1 multifunctional product that is formulated with cloudberry, which a fruit that is high in Vitamin C. The treatment aims to brighten the skin, even the skin tone, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation and hydrate the skin. I used the Cloudberry as a 2-1-toner essence directly after washing my face.

The Cloudberry essence has somewhat of light jelly consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin and essentially prepares the skin for the remainder of your skincare routine. I like the way it felt on my skin. I have normal-oily skin and the toner hydrated my skin well without leaving behind a heavy feeling on my face. I do think my skin had a nice glow while using it, but as for helping with hyperpigmentation its not an area that I can speak in detail as I really don’t have any active dark spots. For a 2.5 oz size bottle, the toner lasted for several months with usage 1-2 per day.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Glycerin, Rubus Chamaemorus (Cloudberry) Fruit Extract, Ubiquinone,* Lactobacillus, Rubus Chamaemorus (Cloudberry) Seed Oil, Collagen Amino Acids, Oat Amino Acids, Oryza Sativa (Rice) Bran, Tocopherol, Ethyl Olivate, Algin, Capsicum Annuum Fruit Extract, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Brassica Oleracea Capitata Leaf Extract, Dextrin, Molasses, Sodium Citrate, Butylene Glycol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Cholesterol, Mentha Arvensis Extract, Barosma Betulina Leaf Extract, Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Paeonia Suffruticosa Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil, Litsea Cubeba Fruit Oil, Citrus Nobilis Peel Oil, Juniperus Virginiana Oil, Elettaria Cardamomum Seed Oil, Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil, 1,2-Hexanediol, Calcium Chloride, Salvia Sclarea Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis Peel Oil, Juniperus Mexicana Oil, Thymus Vulgaris Flower/Leaf Oil, Cupressus Sempervirens Leaf/Nut/Stem Oil, Ocimum Basilicum Oil, Ribes Nigrum Bud Extract, Olea Europaea Leaf Extract, Vetiveria Zizanoides Root Oil, Prunus Armeniaca Fruit Extract, Pimpinella Anisum Fruit Extract, Gellan Gum, Polyglyceryl-2 Laurate, Glyceryl Caprate.

Esfolio Gold Snail Hydrogel Eye patches

Price:  Usually $16.00 for 60 patches (30 pairs) (linked here – for $7.19)

Whenever I have the chance during my morning routines, I try my best to incorporate eye patches into my routine. The Gold Snail Hydrogel eye patches are formulated with snail secretion filtrate and arbutin, which helps to hydrate the under eyes. I know a lot of eye patches tend to slip around. To combat that problem, I tend remove some of the excess liquid in the container. Even with doing this, the eye patches remained hydrated. I like how well the eye gels hydrated my under eyes and with removing the excess liquid it really helped to keep the eye patches from slipping and sliding around. I do think that eye patches/eye gels provide a short-term effect, but I did like the immediate hydration and depuffing effects. Being that eye patches provide a more short-term effect; I don’t think it’s important to splurge on this area of my skincare routine.

Ingredients: Aqua, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Cyaamopsis Tetragonoloba(Guar) Gum, Agar, Potassium Chloride, Glucose, Xanthan Gum, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Allantoin, Methylparaben, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Snail Secretion Filtrate (90 mg), Arbutin, Fragrance, Niacinamide, Adenosine, Panthenol, Disodium EDTA, Propyl-paraben, Tocopheryl Acetate, Calcium lactate, Ricinus Communis( Castor) Seed Oil, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Tin Oxide, Titanium Dioxide, Black Oxide of Iron, Sodium Hyaluronate, Aloe Barbadensis, Leaf juice Powder, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Carbomer, Triethanolamine, Colloidal Gold(0.09mg)

Kosas Plump + Juicy Vegan Collagen + Probiotic Spray-On Serum

Price: $48 for 3.38oz

The Kosas Spray-on Serum is not one that I hear much about and I’m not sure why. The spray-on serum is formulated with vegan collagen, peptides, probiotics, and hyaluronic acid. The combination of these ingredients aims to hydrate, soothe, and plump the skin. I used the serum mist as skin hydrator/ toner immediately after washing my face for both my morning and evening routines. The mister sprayed out well and I didn’t have any issues with it. Overall, I really like how well the serum mist moisturized my skin and prepped my skin for the remainder of my skincare routine. I really can’t say the serum mist did anything else for my skin besides just keeping it hydrated. The only possible con may just be the price. $50 for a 3oz hydrating mist is a lot, especially when the skincare market is heavily saturated with so many skincare mists that claim to do a lot of the same things as this one. In my opinion I feel like this should be priced more about $30-$35 range.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, Phenethyl Alcohol, Hydrolyzed Rice Protein/Hydrolyzed Vegetable Protein, Polyglyceryl-6 Caprylate, Polyglyceryl-3 Cocoate, Polyglyceryl-4 Caprate, Polyglyceryl-6 Ricinoleate, Sodium Gluconate, Erythritol, Hydrolyzed Pea Protein, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Maltodextrin, Acacia Seyal Gum Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment, Artemisia Capillaris Flower Extract, Hibiscus Sabdariffa Fruit Extract/Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Extract, Glycine, Proline, Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate/Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl Tripeptide-37, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol, Sodium Benzoate.

Alpha H Melting Moment Cleansing Balm

Price: $50 for 3.17oz

The Alpha H Cleansing Balm is formulated with wild orange leaf extract, which gives it a nice orangesicle feel to it. Unlike other solid cleansing balms that I’ve tried, this one has a very buttery smooth texture to it. The consistency has more of a melted cleansing balm feel to it. I really enjoyed using the cleansing balm to remove makeup and even for non-makeup days. I feel liked it worked really well to break down my makeup quicker than other cleansing balms that I tried. My only con is being that the cleansing balm has a richer consistency than others that I’ve tried, I think it made the removal process a little longer and may have even contributed to my bathroom sink draining slower than usual. Overall, I like how well it removed my makeup and how my skin felt after it’s been removed.

Ingredients: Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Caprylic/Capric, Triglyceride, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil, Peg-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Fusanus Spicatus Kernel Oil, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Phenoxyethanol, Citrus Reticulata (Tangerine) Peel Oil, Bisabolol, Capparis Mitchellii Leaf Extract, Citrus Sinensis (Sweet Orange) Peel Oil, Cananga Odorata (Ylang-Ylang) Flower Oil, Citrus Junos Oil, Vanilla Planifolia (Vanilla) Fruit Extract, Limonene, Ci 77491 (Iron Oxides), Ci 75300 (Natural Curcumin).

Osea Ocean Cleansing Milk

Price: $54 for 5oz

The Osea Ocean Cleansing Milk is a fragrance milky cleanser that helps to remove dirt and impurities from the skin. It’s formulated with Undaria Seaweed, Saccharide Isomerate, and Safflower Seed Oil, which helps to nourish the skin whilst cleansing. From my understanding cleansing milk cleansers are generally recommended for those with dry/sensitive skin and I can understand that. But I actually enjoy using these types of cleansers- especially this one, for morning cleansing. I have normal to oily combo skin that is dehydrated, but I really like milky cleansers as I find them to be hydrating and gentle on my skin.

Ingredients: water/aqua/eau, glycerin, caprylic/capric triglyceride, cetearyl alcohol, carthamus tinctorius (safflower) seed oil, undaria pinnatifida extract, propanediol, cetearyl olivate, glyceryl stearate, decyl glucoside, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) water, sodium lauroyl oat amino acids, corylus avellana (hazelnut) seed oil, acacia farnesiana flower extract, rosa centifolia flower extract, rosa damascena flower extract, oryza sativa (rice) bran extract, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, helianthus annuus (sunflower) extract, tocopherol, bisabolol, zingiber officinale (ginger) root extract, chamomilla recutita (matricaria) extract, saccharide isomerate, sorbitan olivate, trisodium ethylenediamine disuccinate, caprylhydroxamic acid, sodium lauroyl glutamate, 1,2-hexanediol, stearic acid, xanthan gum, sodium citrate, citric acid, sodium hydroxide, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate, benzoic acid.

Versed Conditioning Silk Slip Lip Oil

Price: $9.99

The Versed Silk Slip Lip Oil comes in both a clear shade (like this empty) along with 3 tinted shades. It’s formulated with key ingredients like camellia oil, jojoba oil, sunflower seed oil, and vitamin E. I’ve tried several lip oils throughout the years and this one is more on the lighter side in terms of the consistency and how it feels on. The lip oil gives a nice glossy effect, but the glossy effect is short lived. Even with that said, I do think it was a nice option for a lip oil, but I didn’t find myself reaching for it very often.

Ingredients: Isododecane, Octyldodecanol, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Hydrogenated Styrene/Isoprene Copolymer, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Macadamia Integrifolia Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Oil, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Oil, Pentaerythrityl Tetra-di-t-butyl Hydroxyhydrocinnamate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Tocopherol, Glycerin

The Lip Jelly is also formulated with papaya enzyme ferment, which is prebiotic gently exfoliates to smooth out lips + boosts efficacy of hyaluronic acid.I wouldn’t say I loved this gloss, but I did enjoy using it. I think it did a good job at moisturizing my lips, which felt noticeably softer once it wore off.

Hair Care Empties

Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair Strength + Moisture Leave-in Spray Mask

Price: $28 for 4oz

The Briogeo hair mask is a leave-in hair mask that’s housed in aerosol container that is sprayed onto the hair. The Don’t Despair, Repair line is formulated with key ingredients like argan oil, biotin and algae extract to help damage done to the hair. I was always so used to leave-in hair mask/conditioners to be more of a cream or light milky consistency. But this leave-in has a lighter consistency, which is why I gravitated towards using it for when I knew I would be heat styling my hair (blow drying). The leave-in did a pretty good job at providing moisture and helping me to detangle my hair.

Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Polysorbate 80, Brassica Alcohol*, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil*, Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil*, Sargassum Filipendula Extract*, Panthenol, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride*, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract*, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glycerin*, Algin*, Citric Acid, Chitosan*, Arginine*, Gellan Gum, Coco-Glucoside*, Brassicyl Isoleucinate Esylate*, Fragrance (Parfum), Dehydroacetic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol

Oyin Handmade Shine and Seal Pomade

Price: $21.99 for 8oz

Previously reviewed on my blog several times over the years, but it’s safe to say this a forever staple in my hair care routine. Yes, it has pomade in the name, which would make one think that is possibly a product a that has a thick texture that provides a lasting hold. But on the contrary, this is a moisturizing hair balm that helps to seal in moisture. I reach for this on hair wash days and maybe use like 3 or 4 days later to add in extra moisture to my hair. Since I’ve been using the product over the many years, the formula has remained the same, which is why I keep repurchasing it.

If you’re interested in seeing some of my more detailed reviews of the pomade, check them out here- Product Empties pt2. October 2018

Ingredients: castor oil, hydrogenated soybean oil, organic virgin coconut oil, mango seed butter, olive oil, unrefined hempseed oil, candelilla wax, cocoa butter, broccoli seed oil, fragrance

Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter

Price: $20.49 for 8oz

The Almond Jai Twisting Butter is a lightweight cream that blends oils and butters that is formulated with almond oil extract, which is known for being a rich source of magnesium and aids in conditioning the hair. The butter has a light consistency – think of a whipped butter that has almost melted. I think the twisting butter does a great job at moisturizing the hair for twists outs/braid outs, but it only provides a light hold. Whenever I used the twisting butter is was on my damp hair, I usually would also add in some type of holding product. I also like using the twisting butter on stretched hair (hair that been blow-dried or manipulated to be straightened). When my hair was stretched it provided a good hold and moisturized my hair very well. I really like the twisting butter and how it made my hair feel, which is why I’ve already repurchased another jar.

Ingredients: deionized water, behentrimonium methosulfate (btms) cetearyl alcohol, prunus dulcis (almond) milk, prunus dulcis (almond) oil, cucurbita pepo (pumpkin) seed oil, sesamum indicum (sesame) seed oil, simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, oryza sativa (rice) bran oil, macadamia ternifolia (macadamia nut) seed oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, cannabis sativa (hemp) seed oil, ulmus fulva bark extract (slippery elm), ricinus communis (castor) seed oil/hydrogenated, aloe barbadensis (aloe) leaf juice, honey, camellia sinensis (green tea) leaf extract, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, sorbic acid

Vegamour Hydr8 Deep Moisture Repair Mask

Price: $52 for 5oz

The deep moisture repair mask has been one of my favorites for the past several months. I love how thick and moisturizing it is. It’s one of the few hair masks that I’ve tried that works so well and quickly for my hair. I usually only leave it on my hair for only 5 minutes. Upon washing it out I can feel the knots melting out and the moisture from the mask! Being that the mask is so thick, I only need to use a small amount at a time. I can’t recommend this one enough.

Vegamour GRO Scalp Detox Clarifying Treatment for Dry, Flaky, Oily Scalp

Price: $42 for 2oz

The GRO Scalp Detox is aimed to be a weekly scalp treatment that is formulated with vegan silk protein to gently remove buildup on the scalp whilst providing a moisture barrier and rebalancing the scalp to help promote hair growth. The treatment has a runnier fluid like consistency compared to other formulas that I’ve tried. Being that the texture is runnier with a slight level of grit to it, it made it a lot easier to distribute the product to the scalp and gentler on the scalp. I typically applied the serum at least 10-15 minutes prior to washing my hair. The directions call for 3-5 minutes, but I feel like the extra time allows for me to fully massage the treatment into my scalp and giving it extra time to fully work. Once the time is completed, I continued with the rest of my hair care routine by shampooing twice and conditioning my hair. I didn’t find the treatment to feel greasy or cause my hair to tangle. I would definitely consider purchasing it in the future if I’m able to get it on sale.

Ingredients: Aqua, Propanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, Sclerocarya Birrea Seed Oil, Alcohol Denat., Adansonia Digitata Seed Oil, Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Zinc Pca, Inulin Lauryl Carbamate, Caffeine, Xanthan Gum, Tocopherol, Glycine Soja Seed Extract, Sodium Phytate, Epilobium Angustifolium Extract, Sodium Hydroxide, Parfum, D-Limonene, Sr-Spider Polypeptide-1, Phenoxyethanol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Linalool, Alcohol, Sodium Metabisulfite.

EcoStyler Black Castor and Flaxseed Oil Gel

Price: $3.99 for 16oz

Over the years I’ve gone through so many jars of the Black Castor and Flaxseed Oil Gel from Ecostyler. Out of all the Ecostyler gels I feel like this one is top tier. It’s not as drying, and the hold is more on the light to medium side. Being that it’s formulated with castor oil and flaxseed oil, I feel like these ingredients helps to add in an additional source of moisture to the hair. Being that I do like the formula and the way that my hair responds to it, I’m sure I’ll repurchase it again in the future. For me the price and performance are great!

Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector

Price: $60 for 8.5 oz

Olaplex no. 3 has been a staple in my haircare routine for the past 5 years! When used correctly, I think it works wonders for the hair. I typically use the No.3 1-2x per month. With that frequency of usage, I noticed that the integrity of my hair has remained strong and for me it really helps with shedding and breakage. I think that many people tend to overuse Olaplex, which may cause an adverse reaction, but when used correctly, I think it works well. If you have chemically treated hair (including color damage) or severe hair issues, it may be worth it to check out the Olaplex line.

Previously reviewed: Olaplex Review - No. 0, 3, 4, 5

Mizani 25 Miracle Milk Leave-In Conditioner

Price: $26 for 8.5oz

The Mizani 25 Miracle Milk Leave-In is a light-weight leave- in conditioner that also provides heat protection that is aimed for those with natural curly – coily hair. The leave-in also works to moisturize, reduce frizz, and protect the hair for heat up to 450 degrees. The leave in has a spray applicator making it easy to distribute the product throughout the hair. I used this leave in for both occasions when I planned to style my hair curly after washing and for heat styling it straight. Surprisingly, I loved it for both, but opted to use it more for heat styling because I really liked the amount of moisture it provided to my hair without weighing it down.

Bodycare Empties

First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub with 10% AHA

Price: $30 for 8oz

At this point, the KP Eraser Body scrub has been in my routine for several years now. Anytime I try a new body scrub that specifies that it helps for Keratosis Pilaris, I’m testing it against the KP eraser scrub. I’ve tried many and few have come close to this one! The KP eraser scrub is a body scrub that is formulated with both physical and chemical exfoliants that helps to scrub away dry, rough, and bumpy skin. The KP Eraser Scrub has been one of the best body exfoliants that I’ve tried throughout the years, which is why I keep going back to it!

Previously reviewed in my previous KP Routine

Ahava Sea-Kissed Mineral Shower Gel

Price: $24 for 6.8oz

The Sea Kissed shower Gel is formulated to be gentle on the skin whilst in cleanses the skin with dead sea salt minerals and aloe vera extract. The scent is on the milder side, but very much pleasant. I think the shower gel did a good job at cleansing my skin and keeping it moisturized. I can’t say that I was wowed by it. I enjoyed using it while I had, but I don’t think it’s something I would go out of my way to purchase.

Ingredients: Aqua (Mineral Spring Water), Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate, Zinc Coceth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Parfum (Fragrance), Benzyl Salicylate, Linalool, Limonene, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Sodium Benzoate, Lactic Acid, Sodium Chloride, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol, Biosaccharide Gum-1, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe-Vera) Leaf Juice, Allantoin, Maris Aqua (Dead Sea Water/Osmoter)

Necessaire The Deodorant

Price: $20 for 1.7oz

I can’t even recall how many of the Necessaire deodorants that I’ve gone through over the years. The Necessaire deodorant is a gel-based deodorant that is formulated with 5% AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) and Niacinamide. The combination aims to combat odors and treat hyperpigmentation. In my opinion the deodorant really lived up to its claims, which is why I repurchased for several years back-to-back. With the recent empty I noticed that the formula started to look darker/almost discolored. Nonetheless, it still worked the same for me.

Previously reviewed – October ’22 Empties

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Mandelic Acid, Potassium Hydroxide, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Gluconolactone, Lactic Acid, Panthenol, Niacinamide, Glycerin, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Sodium Benzoate, Calcium Gluconate, Sodium Phytate, Eucalyptus Globulus (Eucalyptus) Leaf Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Abies Sibirica (Siberian Fir) Oil, Zingiber Officinale (Ginger) Root Oil, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Pogostemon Cablin (Patchouli) Oil, Benzoic Acid, Citric Acid, Limonene

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Body Cream

Price: $65 for 6.7oz

The Magic Body Cream is described as a cream that quickly hydrates the skin along with reducing the appearance of cellulite and stretch marks. It’s formulated with hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and caffeine. The cream is a nice middle ground in terms of consistency and moisture. With that being said, I didn’t find the results from the cream to differentiate from creams that I used that are priced less than this one. I do like that the cream comes in a squeeze tube bottle. I feel like I was able to get every bit of the product from the tube. I do think the cream worked well and I appreciated that it was heavily scented, but I think $65 for this tube is very much overpriced. I can’t say this is something I would purchase on my own based on the priced and the results.

Ingredients: Aqua/Water/Eau, Glycerin, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glyceryl Stearate Se, Tricaprylin, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Soybean Glycerides, Cetyl Alcohol, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter Unsaponifiables, 1,2-Hexanediol, Pentylene Glycol, Myristyl Myristate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Caprylyl Glycol, Carbomer, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Camellia Oleifera (Camellia) Seed Oil, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil, Sodium Gluconate, Sodium Hydroxide, Caffeine, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Haematococcus Pluvialis Extract, Maltodextrin, Tocopherol, Rosa Damascena Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Michelia Alba Leaf Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Plumeria Rubra Flower Extract, Citric Acid, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Linalool, Citronellol, Geraniol.

Ahava Mineral Hand Cream

Price: $10 for 1.3oz

The Ahava hand cream is a moisturizing hand cream that’s formulated with their exclusive osmoter complex to help protect and moisturize the hands. Osmoter is a dead sea mineral extract and signature ingredient in Ahava skincare products. It works by drawing nutrients, boosting cell turnover and stimulates the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid. While using this hand cream, I typically kept it in my work bag. I like how moisturizing it was without feeling overly greasy. Being that it was one of my hand creams that was more on the lighter side, I think it was perfect for the summer and early fall months. But I don’t think it would be moisturizing enough for me to use during the winter months since my hands get extremely dry.

Ingredients: Aqua (Mineral Spring Water), Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Ceteareth-30, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Glycerin, Sodium Cetearyl Sulfate, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Flower Water, Propanediol(Corn derived Glycol), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylexylglycerin, Maris Sal (Dead Sea Water), Dimethicone, Parfum (Fragrance), Allantoin, Linalool, Hexyl Cinnamal, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehyde, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Coumarin, Alpha Isomethyl Ionone, Citronellol, Geraniol, Isoeugenol, Benzyl Alcohol, Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Salicylate.

Sol de Janeiro Mini Brazilian Crush Cheirosa ’68 Beija Flor Hair & Body Fragrance Mist

Price: $25 for 3oz

Key Notes: Brazilian Jasmine, Pink Dragonfruit, Sheer Vanilla

The Sol de Janeiro Beija Flor is one of my favorite scents from the brand. The Jasmine and Dragon fruit are the notes that stand-out to me the most. The vibes of the scent gives me spring-summer vibes. Compared to some of the other Sol scents that I’ve tried, I can say this one is one of the longer lasting ones. I also think this one layers well with other fragrances.

Candle Empties

DW Home Pumpkin Spice Latte Candle

Price: $18 for 11.2oz

The Pumpkin Spice Latte candle vessel is aimed to look like a cup of coffee and that’s what initially caught my eye. The candle has notes of warm cinnamon, golden nutmeg, and hints of spicy clove. I really like how well the aroma of the candle filled my space to smell like a pumpkin spice latte. This was the perfect candle for the early fall. I think I’m going to repurpose the candle vessel, but I’m not entirely sure what I’ll use it to store.

Abbott Mojave Ghost Candle

Price: $42 for 6.5oz

Notes: Top Note: Bergamot, Mid Notes Black Pepper, Base Note Tobacco Leaf

The Abbott candles are hand poured in Saratoga, New York with natural soy wax. I really enjoyed the candle I found myself burning it frequently because the scent was so pleasant. Even with the candle being on the smaller side, I noticed that it lasted for a decent amount of time. This is likely due to the type of wax that Abbott makes their candle with.

DW Home- Goodies Lemon Berry Ice Candle

Price: $20 for 10.8oz

This one of my favorite candles to burn during the summer months. It smells like a lemon berry Italian ice. The candle vessel is so cute and is meant to look like a tub of ice cream. I burned this candle for long hours at a time and I’m happy to say the candle lasted several months with almost daily usage.
