Review

The The Farmacy Honey Potion Renewing Antioxidant Hydration Mask with Echinacea GreenEnvy is a well known and loved mask in the beauty community. As I looked through the ingredients, I noticed that the first one was Glycerin. Based on my knowledge, I know Glycerin to be a humecant that moisturizes by drawing water from the air to the skin.

The packaging of the full size of the Honey Potion Mask is displayed in a full size transparent jar with an attached spatula. The spatula is great as it stops cross contamination which can occur from placing your fingers in and out of the jar. The mask itself looks like a yellow thick paste and smells faintly like honey.

As directed by the directions, I applied the mask to my face after is was freshly cleansed. The mask is thick yellow paste, but as I massaged it into the skin the yellow texture turned into a white cream texture. The texture remained thick, but was very easy to massage into my skin. During this time the mask began to warm. The warming sensation was pleasant and not overpowering.

After removing the mask my face had a stable glow and was soft to the touch. The first couple of times I tried the mask it was during the summer months and it left my skin very hydrated. I’m a firm believer in trying out a product multiple times under multiple circumstances (different weather climates and using different products prior/after) before forming a decision.

I was eager to try the mask as the weather temperature dropped to see if it would offer the same effects. After each use of the mask I noticed that it helped my other skin care products (toner, essence, serum and moisturizer) absorb into my skin a lot easier.

The mornings after using the mask my face had such a great glow! I don’t think the mask can take the full credit for the amazing glow that I achieved. But I do think the mask in conjunction to my other skin care items helped me to achieve hydrated glowing skin (not oily). I have combination skin (Normal-Oily) and I do think this mask can be used on all skin types.

Will I repurchase/purchase the full size?

Yes, I will likely purchase the full size 1.7 ounces in the upcoming months once I’m able to dwindle down my overwhelming mask collection. The effects of the mask along with skin warming is nothing like what I have in my current mask collection. I really like what the brand Farmacy stands for along with the use of their clean ingredients. At this current time in my skin care journey my goal is to use more products that contain cleaner ingredients. I like that Farmacy is fully aligned with using naturally derived ingredients.
