Top 5 "No Make-up" Makeup Products

As much as I love playing in makeup, I don't exactly like spending time to apply it. I have several tried and true makeup items that I use to achieve my 'no make up' makeup look. Listed below are the steps I take when I want to achieve a natural pulled together look, but not look too over done.

Top 5 Everyday Make-up Favorites

1.) Mascara

Benefit Roller Lash (Standard $24, Mini $12)

Benefit Roller Lash (Standard $24, Mini $12)

The Benefit Roller Lash mascara has been one of my favorite mascaras since it launched in 2015! I love that it separates my lashes, adds volume and length without getting clumpy. It's also said to contains provitamin B5 and serin, known for their lash-conditioning benefits, and to provide a 12-hour curl-setting effect. I rarely leave home without mascara!

2.) Concealer

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer (Color- Dark Golden) $32

Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer (Color- Dark Golden) $32

The Becca Aqua Luminous Perfecting Concealer is described as a weightless and buildable coverage concealer. The light to medium coverage allows for a  perfect quick "no makeup" makeup look. The Aqua Luminous Concealer provides a radiant finish that is natural looking and never cakey.

Application: I always apply this concealer with a damp beauty blender or sponge for a seamless and streakfree application.

3.) Setting Powder for Concealer

Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder (Standard $38, Mini $15)

Laura Mercier Loose Translucent Setting Powder (Standard $38, Mini $15)

To set my concealer I'm currently torn between the Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder (above) and the Becca Under Eye Brightening Setting Powder (below). I've been using the Laura Mercier powder for the past 4 years. I know that when I set with this powder my concealer will not move, but sometimes it can be a little too heavy for me.

As for the Becca Under Eye Brightening Powder, it's extremely fine and contains light reflecting pearls. In my opinion, the Becca Powder pairs well with concealers that offer a light to medium coverage. The Laura Mercier Setting Powder is great to set concealers that are more on the scale of full coverage.

Application: I go back and forth between applying the powders with a damp beauty blender/sponge or a concealer brush. I'm not big on the "baking" method", so I apply a little powder and lightly press it into my skin.

4.) Bronzer

Becca Sunlit Bronzer- Maui Nights $38

Becca Sunlit Bronzer- Maui Nights $38

A good bronzer is a must, at least in my opinion. The Becca Sunlit Bronzer in Maui Nights is the perfect bronzer for me. I love that it's a very warm tone color and provides a healthy glow to my skin. The formula lasts all day and is butter soft. The bronzer comes in 5 different shades and definitely worth checking out!

Application: I love applying bronzer with a fluffy angled brush. I also like to apply it to my eyes as a crease color with a transition brush.

5.) Setting Spray

Milani Make It Last Setting Spray $9

Milani Make It Last Setting Spray $9

The Milani Make it Last Setting Spray provides a long lasting finish to your make up application. It can be used to prime the face before applying make-up, correct if too much powder was used, and set your final look. I usually only use it to set my make-up. After using pricier formulas, I must say this holds up to its name!

Bonus- Highlighter

My current highlighter collection

My current highlighter collection

I rarely leave home without applying highlighter. With that being said in the past couple of years I've accumulated quite a collection of different highlighters. I tend to go for highlighters that are in the gold-rose gold shade range and that are not too sparkly.

If you would like to see a separate post about my highlighter collection or my favorite ones to use, please leave me a comment below. I'll more than happy to share!
